Renbert G. Mortimer II

Welcome to my website, where I update my journeys throughout the Bahamas weekly. I post photos and videos about what I am doing in The Bahamas and also allow those whom I meet to keep in contact with me by leaving comments about workshops or how I presented at a organization.  Currently I am enrolled at the College of The Bahamas studying Psychology, after completing my AA in Sociology. Outside my education, I am  engaged with the National Youth Policy Team for the Commonwealth of the Islands of The Bahamas and service as a Director with the Youth Ambassadors for Positive Living.

I am a very active member in organizations such as the National Youth Ambassadors for Positive Living (YAPL), Royal Ambassadors for Christ (RA) and  The Bahamas National Youth Council (BNYC) where I was Acting Vice President for Finance and the College of the Bahamas Union of Students (COBUS). Throughout my trainings and exposure while participating in these groups, I have discovered a love for proactive positive living, emphasizing the importance of spiritual purity. My method for positive living is not only to continue good habits and volunteering to the needy, but Christ Jesus pace setting for others to be spiritually filled.

As a Christian, I assist my church in several ministries, playing the piano, teaching and performing pantomime, and even assisting an mentor in the church with a summer project “Partners for a Clean Bahamas”. But, above all, I believe true Christianity is not only doing good, but being good.

My past has shaped my present. I was a active member of the Bahamas Junior Achievement program joining in 2006 under the Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources’ ASAP then continuing in 2007 under the Bahamas Telecommunications Corporations; I developed a passion for marketing in the program and won Top Sales 2006 along with receiving scholarships to St. Leo University and John and Wales University. I then volunteered under the Junior Achievements Volunteer Advisor Association as the Chaplin 2008. In this, through this, I now market my self and findings to audiences as a motivational speaker; helping them realize the gifts that preserved me as a man and Christian (passion, vision and humbleness) and that can preserve my children future spouses.

I have had the pleasure of service in community development with the YAPL service as Director for Membership and Director for Youth Development before venturing in Motivational Speaking. It is through conducting WAIT Training workshops and motivational speeches that I continue to learn about youth and the issues that challenge us.

Look forward to my PRO project

being launched 2011!
